I am originally from Fayetteville, Arkansas. As a kid, I grew up in Arkansas and Indiana but finally moved to Texas in 1999 because my dad took the Head Swim Coach position at The Woodlands High School in The Woodlands, TX. I am a graduate of The Woodlands High School (2006) and Texas Tech University (2010). As hobbies, I play on a local kickball team that participates in yearly tournaments and weekly league games and I enjoy playing golf and being outdoors when I can! One of my favorite memories in my life occurred recently when I married my beautiful wife in the summer of 2022. We have two dogs, Jax and Stella. One of the most adventurous and memorable things I have ever done in my life was when I was 18, I went skydiving with my friends. It was a life changing moment for me because I figured if I could jump out of an airplane from 13,000 feet and land on the ground, I could do anything! In my free time, I love going to concerts and spending time with my wife. We love playing with our dogs and just spending quality time together and enjoying life. Back in May of 2019, I was diagnosed with Crohn’s disease. I had to completely change my mindset and my lifestyle in order to become healthy and reduce the pain that I had been living with for years. I recently became an official committee member for the Southern Texas Chapter of the Crohn’s and Colitis Foundation with hope that I can be a positive light and a safety net for those that may be going through the same thing I went through. I am very proud to announce that in this year of 2023 I have been chosen, by the foundation, to be the Adult Honored Hero for the Take Steps Charity walk to help raise awareness for Crohn’s disease!
