Robert L. Sorrells serves as Branch Manager of Nations Lending in Gulf Shores/Orange Beach, AL. Since 1999, he has earned insightful experience in the mortgage lending industry and 15 years of commercial banking experience. During his banking tenure, he held the positions of Branch Manager, Senior Commercial Lender, and Regional Business Development Officer. Early in his career, he was successful in obtaining a $2.5M business relationship with the Montgomery County School System (Alabama).

Robert graduated from Auburn University with a degree in business. He has five years past experience as a self-employed retail business owner of three locations in Alabama.
He is actively engaged in the local community, serving as a board member of the Little Lagoon Preservation Society in Gulf Shores, AL. He has also formerly served as a United Way executive and as a member of his church finance committee.

Robert and his wife, Kay are active members of Gulf Shores Methodist Church. They have five children and eight grandchildren.
